Want to build a lighthouse and maybe win some money? The Maritime Aquarium is accepting applications for our 13th annual “Festival of Lighthouses Contest” this fall. The contest/exhibit can take as many as 24 large model lighthouses, which will be displayed from mid-November through mid-January. Aquarium visitors can enjoy the lighthouses and then vote for their favorite.
The lighthouse with the most votes will win the $1,500 first-place prize. There are other monetary prizes for second- through sixth-places.
