Imagine you and your guests sipping cocktails and sampling delicacies from a raw bar in front of our dramatic 110,000-gallon "Ocean Beyond the Sound" exhibit, all the while keeping one eye out for prowling sharks, enjoying scrumptious hors d'oeuvres in front of the river otter exhibit, dancing to live music in front of an audience of fun-loving seals, and enjoying a relaxing glass of wine on the River Plaza as the sun sets before heading inside for a traditional New England clambake. It’s all possible at The Maritime Aquarium!

The Maritime Aquarium has a range of meeting rooms that will put a little splash into your next meeting. Our meeting rooms feature modern audio-visual equipment and a quiet, professional setting. On-site catering is available.

The IMAX Theater

Seating capacity 310

The newly renovated IMAX Theater is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual technology and is the ideal spot for multimedia product introductions, board meetings, lectures, conferences and press announcements. On-site catering is available. Additional benefits include private IMAX screenings. Seating capacity is 310. Availability limited to Monday - Thursday evenings and mornings (ending at 10:45 a.m.)
