It's all within an easy walk of the [train] station too – including The Maritime Aquarium, the one relatively new building in the group and the one that enables grownups to enjoy browsing and shopping while still entertaining the children."

New IMAX movie "Humpback Whales" opens Feb. 13

What's the next best thing to going on a real whale watch?  We think it's seeing these magnificent animals life-sized – and larger – on The Maritime Aquarium's six-story IMAX® movie screen in the new film "Humpback Whales," opening Feb. 13.  (Plus, the film offers amazing underwater scenes that, of course, aren't possible during a whale watch.)  This wonderful family-friendly film joins scientists following humpbacks – nearly hunted to extinction – on their slow but remarkable recovery.  Get the press release here.
