Cirque de la Mer gala

This annual fund-raising evening supports The Maritime Aquarium’s Red Apple Fund for Student Enrichment, which helps to make the Aquarium’s unique marine-science and environmental-education programs available to students and teachers in the tri-state area who otherwise may not be able to participate.

After a one-of-a-kind cocktail party in the Aquarium galleries, among the seals, sharks, sea turtles and other marine life, guests then enjoy a sit-down dinner and silent and live auctions “under the big top” specially erected outside the Aquarium’s main entrance.

The event includes the presentation of the annual Red Apple Awards, which honor companies, organizations and individuals who share The Maritime Aquarium’s concern for the natural world and environmental education.

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is a non-profit 501(c)(3).  All gifts are tax deductible to the extent the law allows. A formal acknowledgement letter will be sent following the event.
