Metro-North Railroad
The Maritime Aquarium is a one-hour train ride from Grand Central Station. Get off at South Norwalk. Exit and walk down the driveway, turning right onto Monroe Street. Walk to the light and turn left onto South Main Street. At the next light, make a right onto Washington Street and proceed to the first light, where you will turn left onto North Water Street. The Maritime Aquarium’s IMAX® Theater entrance will be in front of you. (You can enter the Aquarium here; IMAX purchase not required.)

Discounted Train-Aquarium-IMAX ticket packages are available from Metro-North at any ticket office or full-service ticket machine (except South Norwalk station).

By Boat
Tie up at the Norwalk Visitors Dock located on the starboard side as you're heading in, immediately before the Strofolino/Washington Street Bridge. (Fees are minimal.  Call 854-7806.) Walk across the bridge into South Norwalk, and The Maritime Aquarium is immediately on your right. There is plenty here for a weekend trip.
